Film 4

Working with Film4 we set out to create a film channel rather than a TV channel, covering all on-air aspects of the brand from live action idents to on screen presentation and beyond.

A custom motion technique, a contemporary take on a classic film strip / projector effect, was developed to span graphic and live-action elements to give the package a visual signature beyond the logo.

Working as part of the in-house team at ManvsMachine, I was involved in concept development, story, & art direction on the idents. I was also responsible for designing, animating and building the on screen presentation, and integrating it with on line and off line playback.
